This week we'll explore the life cycles of butterflies, explore our butterfly collection, dive deeper into why monarchs are important

This week we'll dive deeper into our understanding of bats as pollinators, explore bat houses, do crafts emphasizing bat anatomy, learn more about about echolocation and nocturnal animals

This week we'll talk about the importance of bugs and explore our bug collection, do crafts to learn more about bug anatomy, make different types of bug habitat, hunt for bugs, learn about the ladybug life cycle, feed our worms, and more

This week we'll make bird houses from different mediums (bottle gourds, wood, baskets etc), explore our collection of bird's nests, make different bird feeders, make home made binoculars, learn how to use binoculars, explore different plants that birds like to eat. Kids will come home this week with plants to install at home

This week we'll explore the difference between hive bees and native bees, explore beeswax and honeycombs, taste different honeys, craft bee art, make beeswax balms and salves, explore a dead bee hive, look at beekeepers suits, and identify different bees in the field
